Scrappy Moms Stamps Guest Designer

Hello everyone, unfortunately this is my last post as a Scrappy Moms Stamps Guest Designer.  I had fun showcasing the August stamp release and want to thank them for having me!  Today's project features the "What Can I Say?" stamp set.
I created a single page 12x12 layout using a sketch from DCWV and used the DCWV Garden Party stack.
Instead of journaling on my layout, I used 3 sentiments from the new Scrappy Moms "What Can I Say?" stamp set.  Can you tell I totally love this stamp set?  I added each sentiment to a hand cut flag. A bit of Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine was added to one of the flags.  The doily is from Annie's Paper Boutique.
My title was cut from the Kate's ABC's cartridge, embossed with the Paper Lace Cuttlebug embossing folder, inked and pop dotted.  Since the title is in such a light color I wanted to give it some dimension.
Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget to pop over to Scrappy Moms Stamps to check out the August stamp release and all of the inspiring projects from the Design Team!

Scrappy Moms Stamps Guest Designer

Hello everyone, I have another post today as a Scrappy Moms Stamps Guest Designer. Today's project features the "What Can I Say?" stamp set.
My card was created using the Create A Critter cartridge.  When I saw the sweet little monkey I knew he would be the perfect cut for my card!
Instead of cutting the face with my Cricut, I used a Peachy Keen Face stamp and inked the cheeks. The sentiment was stamped on card stock which was hole punched and adhered with pop dots and some Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check back tomorrow for another post as a Scrappy Moms Stamps guest designer!

Scrappy Moms Stamps Guest Designer

Hello, I have another fun project to share using the newly released Scrappy Moms Stamps!  I wanted to get a jump start on my Halloween projects so I created a treat box using the "Filled with Love" stamp set.
The witch treat box was cut from the Wrap It Up cartridge.  I filled the treat box with orange colored gum balls.
I layered the witch cut out with black glittered card stock, the pop of sparkle was just perfect for this project.  Clear acetate was adhered to the back side of the cut out for a finished look.
I used a Fiskars punch for the tag and stamped the sentiment from the "Filled with Love" stamp set.  The tag was inked on the edges for added dimension.  A tiny bit of Orange Licorice Trendy Twine was used to tie the tag to the treat box.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check back tomorrow for another project for my Scrappy Moms Stamps guest designer spot!

Craftin Desert Diva's Back to School Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party.  The theme for this linky party is back to school.  For my project I created a single page 12x12 layout.
I went to my stash of scrapbooking goodies and found some fun chipboard stickers which I used for the title.  The chipboard pencil was perfect under the title.  I also added chipboard sentiments to hand cut flags along the photo mat.
A tag for journaling was tucked in the side and inked on the edges, using a dauber and ink from one of our sponsors, ClearSnap.  Some coordinating Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine was added to the tag and photo mat.  I also added ink to the 12x12 page and to the middle flag for a pop of color.  The stack of books with the apple was cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  The crayons are also from my stash of stickers.
We have some awesome sponsors for this linky party:

If you came from Debbie's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you will want to start at the beginning with Tara.  Now on to my project, I created a double page 12x12 layout using The Great Outdoors stamp set:
The title was perfect for the first day of our adventure when everyone kept asking "are we there yet?" I added an extra layer of orange in the title to give it a pop of color.
A bit of Totally Kraft Trendy Twine was used to embellish the sign and title.
I found the perfect paper in my stash for my photo mats.  I love all of the fun word art on the photo mats.
Some torn paper was inked on the edges to create a dirt road for the car and camper.  I used vellum for the windows of the vehicles.
The road sign was stamped with a sentiment from The Great Outdoors stamp set.  A couple of brads were added to the sign to give it a rustic look.
The deer with the map was a perfect finishing touch for my layout.  It's rare that we see maps anymore but I could resist his cuteness.
Next on the line up is the amazing Georgiana.  Be sure to hop with us tomorrow too.  Stamps are available in the Craftin Desert Diva's shop now.  Please join us on Facebook at the Craftin Desert Diva's Gallery we would love for you to share your projects using the Craftin Desert Diva's stamps.

My layout was created using the 3 Birds on a Parade cartridge for the title and Campin' Critters for all of the other die cuts.
The grass was cut from the Fiskars Grass punch and adhered along the bottom edge of the layout.
The marshmallows were created by cutting a square and using a corner rounder on the four corners.  I stamped them with Peachy Keen Face stamps, inked the edges and added a Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine bow.
The s'more was debossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The sentiment is from "The Great Outdoors" stamp set.
This fun little scene was the highlight of my layout, I just love the critters roasting their marshmallows over the open fire.

Scrappy Moms Stamps Guest Designer

Hello, I am honored to be joining Scrappy Moms Stamps as a guest designer this month!  I want to thank them for letting me be part of the August stamp release!  The two new stamp sets being released are so fun and versatile!
The first set is "What Can I Say?" This set contains lots of fun sentiments for a variety of occasions. You will see lots of creative projects from the DT and few on my blog too!
The second set is "Filled with Love" and this set is definitely all about those fun treats.  This stamp set will be perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

Today I used the "What Can I Say?" stamp set for my treat jar.  I found this cute little mason jar with a handle at the dollar store.
I wrapped the center of the jar with some glitter paper and used a punch on the edge.  Next I layered a scalloped circle and added a cupcake from the Sweet Treats cartridge.  A few sequins were added to the cupcake frosting and I embossed the bottom with the Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I made a coordinating piece for the top of the jar.  A cupcake liner was used underneath the lid as an embellishment.  To finish off my project I attached a wooden spoon from Annie's Paper Boutique, tied it with Totally Blue Trendy Twine and stamped it with a sentiment from the new "What Can I Say?" stamp set.
Don't forget to pop over to the Scrappy Moms blog for more inspiration with the new stamp release! Also, remember to come back over the next week for a few more projects with each of the stamp sets! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
