Craftin Desert Diva's "Halloween" Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party.  The theme for this linky party is "Halloween."  For my project I created a fun Halloween card.
I used the Mini Monsters cartridge for the ghost and stamped his face with a Peachy Keen face stamp. I used some Stickles for a sparkly effect.  The frame was cut from the Freshly Picked cartridge and I added a border punched from the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch.  The spider web is also punched from a Martha Stewart punch.  A coordinating bow in Trick or Treat Trendy Twine was added to the frame.  The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Frightfully Cute stamp set.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello, it's my design day over at Trendy Twine and I have a project featuring Lime Licorice Trendy Twine.  I used the twine to accent several of the monsters on my layout, the title and the tag.
I used the Mini Monsters cartridge to cut all of the adorable little monsters and the title for my layout.
Several different Peachy Keen Face stamp sets were used for the faces on each of the monsters.  The tag was stamped with a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Frightfully Cute stamp set.
A set of wiggly eyes was added to the center of the "o's" in the title of the layout.  The title was popped up on foam dots for added dimension.
A little pumpkin sticker from my stash and a button were added as embellishments.
There are lots of Halloween twine colors available in the store perfect for those Halloween projects.  I love the variety of the Halloween twine colors, a different color to coordinate with each project.  Also, don't forget to join our "Boo-tiful Treats" October challenge, all of the details are here.

Congrats Card

I have a CAS card to share today which was created with the scraps left over from a layout.  The paper is from the DCWV Rustic stack.   I followed a sketch to create this simple but elegant card.
I used the Fiskars Apron Lace punch along the edge of the hand cut flag.  The sentiment is from the Craftin Desert Diva's Say It Big stamp set and was stamped on a die cut tag.  I lightly inked the edges and popped it up on foam dots.  A coordinating flower with some candy stones from my stash were the finishing touch.

Trendy Twine Design Day

Hello, it's my design day over at Trendy Twine and I have a project featuring Lime Licorice Trendy Twine.  I covered a Kraft Gable box from Annie's Paper Boutique with some fun paper and used my Fiskars Jack-O-Lantern punch for the face.  The top of the gable box was closed with some burlap and I added a bat which was outlined with Black  Licorice Trendy Twine and some googly eyes.  I attached a fun little tag with a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Frightfully Cute stamp set.  The little pumpkin and the grass on the tag are both from punches.  My tag was finished off with a coordinating Trendy Page dot and tied to the gable box with the Lime Licorice twine.  I only have a sneak peek of my project so head over to the Trendy Twine blog.
There are lots of Halloween twine colors available in the store and you can also find the coordinating Spooktacular Halloween Trendy Page Dots for those Halloween projects along with many other crafty projects.  Also, don't forget to join our "Boo-tiful Treats" October challenge, all of the details are here.

Craftin Desert Divas's "Anything But A Card" Linky Party

Welcome to another Craftin Desert Diva's Linky Party.  The theme for this linky party is "Anything But A Card."  For my project I created a double page 12x12 layout based on the sketch provided by DCWV.
This layout has lots of layering using coordinating papers from the DCWV Rustic Stack.  It is perfect for Fall projects.  I used a sentiment from the Craftin Desert Diva's Say It Big stamp set as the title for my layout.  The sentiment was stamped on a mat cut from a Recollections metal die.
I tucked a few tags for journaling behind the photo mats.  The flourishes were cut from the Cricut American Alphabet cartridge.  A few flowers from my stash were added as embellishments.
I created a small banner for each page and added some Maya Road cording along the edges.  I loved the cording because it has metallic gold twisted with the cording, however, the gold keeps unravelling. I was a bit disappointed working with this product.

Cherish Layout

This double page layout was created using papers and coordinating embellishments from my stash.
The photo mats were kept neutral against the patterned card stock.  Flowers punched from a Martha Stewart punch accented the corners of the photo mats.
The "Cherish" title was sticker from the same collection.  I added it to white card stock and popped it up on foam dots for added dimension.
A large pocket and tag was added for journaling.  The tag was accented with Totally White Trendy Twine.

Fall Treat

I have a treat project to share today.  I created an oversized tag in a Fall theme using products from my stash.  The candy tube is from Annie's Paper Boutique and I filled it with some candy.  I had the small flourishes left over from another project so I adhered them to the base of my tag and popped up the pumpkin.
The flag was hand cut and a sentiment from the Scrappy Moms "Mini Messages" stamp set was added. A second sentiment was added from the Scrappy Moms "Dancing In Circles" stamp set with a coordinating button in the center.  I tucked a couple of leaves behind the ribbon and curled some Orange Truffle Trendy Twine and added it to the leaves.  A smile twine bow was tied around the ribbon, the pumpkin and wrapped around the tag.
